Child and Adolescent Health

Asset 131.png

Two topics related to the health of children and adolescents in the general population are currently measured:

1. Hemoglobin testing and the prevalence rate of anemia in infants (ages 9 to 19 months)

2. Documentation of weight and height measurements in children aged 5-6 and 14-18 years, as well as the prevalence rates of thinness, overweight and obesity in children aged 5-6 according to body mass index (BMI) percentiles set by age and sex.

Additionally, disease-specific indicators relate to the healthcare of children with asthma (see respiratory diseases) and children with type 1 diabetes (see diabetes).
